A traditional villa is extended and transformed to meet the evolving needs of a family. A new volume is added to the west, in continuity with the existing house, and connected by a covered terrace running along the entire length of the south façade. The roof is extended without seeking contrast, covering a new entrance area.

The interior spaces are opened up to create spatial continuity, with the kitchen becoming the central hub of the ground floor.
