— Villa (BADO)
The villa is situated on a steeply sloping site offering spectacular views of Lake Neuchâtel and the Jura mountain range.
With a focus on construction economy, the project aims to minimize the building footprint by using a single rectangular floor anchored into the terrain, serving as the foundation for the entire villa. Above this base, the upper levels cantilever outward according to programmatic needs, creating an articulated volume that engages in dialogue with the landscape.
Two large vertical openings in the circulation areas frame ever-changing views that evolve with the seasons. In the living room, a wide horizontal window offers a scene where nature and architecture merge.
