The client wanted an apartment capable of hosting 20 people for meals, with two bedrooms—her own and one for guests.

To meet her needs, the single-aspect space was entirely redesigned to ensure spatial fluidity, creating the impression of a larger and more open environment.

The main room can be divided by a movable partition to provide a temporary guest room, and the living room bench transforms into a double bed.

The removal of add-on elements—such as door frames, handles, and baseboards—and the integration of existing radiators into custom window furniture give the space a sense of cohesive unity. This is further reinforced by the custom-designed built-in furniture throughout: bench seating, sideboard, desk, bathroom unit, and wall niches.

Doors and shutters disappear into the walls, interior windows connect the rooms, and the kitchen becomes a carved-out wall.

In the end, the interior space meets the client’s requirements while achieving a strong sense of aesthetic unity.
