— School Center
The morphological structure of the site consists of non-contiguous buildings set within predominantly green parcels.
The project aims to preserve and enhance the notion of informal pedestrian paths by maintaining or strengthening existing walkways.
The school is composed of a compact triangular volume that houses all core functions, along with a forecourt featuring gym halls and covered playgrounds.
The compactness of the building helps preserve as much open land as possible and gives the structure a public character, as it sits gently within the surrounding vegetation.
The shape of the building references a kaleidoscope, a children’s toy that combines the geometric rigor of the isosceles triangle with the randomness of ever-changing imagery.
