The main idea behind the project is to minimize the built volume in order to preserve as much green space as possible and promote pedestrian use of the area.
As a result, the fire station and the park-and-ride facility are not conceived as two separate buildings, but rather as a compact organism capable of accommodating both current and future functions.

The Erraticus project draws inspiration from the glacial erratic boulders left behind by retreating glaciers—both in form and in placement.
Positioned at the intersection of multiple connecting routes, the new building takes on a distinctive status, aiming to establish a new urban landmark in Marly.

The load-bearing structure is composed of standard steel profiles (HEM, HEB, and IPE), offering a high degree of flexibility to accommodate office layouts, workshops, or commercial programs.

Thus, Erraticus is not only a response to present needs, but also anticipates future adaptability in response to ever-evolving requirements.
